Energy Justice

  • Create a publicly owned energy utility: no new contracts with Xcel and Centerpoint

  • Permanently close the HERC (incinerator) and transition employees into renewable energy union jobs.

  • Create thousands of living-wage union jobs with a major expansion of wind and solar by Minneapolis public utilities.

  • Make Energy Efficiency Upgrades available to all Minneapolis residents regardless of account or credit status.
